Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, a 19-year-old and the son of Anthony Joshua's driver, stated that his father was transporting Anthony Joshua to visit his family in Sagamu after collecting them from the airport.
In his account, Anthony Joshua was originally seated in the front passenger seat until the driver mentioned that he was obstructing his view. Consequently, Latif had to change seats with him.
Ifeoluwa further mentioned that his father was neither a reckless driver nor was he exceeding the speed limit; however, the vehicle's brakes failed while they were on the road, prompting him to attempt to swerve to avoid a stationary truck, which unfortunately resulted in a collision. Additionally, Ife disclosed that his father had been driving for Anthony Joshua for a minimum of three years.
