A decomposing body discovered in the trunk of a Tesla owned by singer D4vd (David Anthony Burke) has been confirmed as that of a missing 15-year-old girl (who was 13 at the time of her disappearance).
What transpired:
On 8 September, law enforcement officials found hu/man remains within the trunk of the impounded Tesla at a Hollywood towing facility, following reports of a foul odor.
The vehicle is registered to D4vd, a prominent singer known for viral hits such as Here With Me and Romantic Homicide.
The remains were in an advanced stage of dec0mposition and were wrapped in plastic. The clothing recovered included a tube top and black leggings, along with stud earrings and a yellow bracelet.
Screenshots and private messages exchanged on Discord and various social media platforms from 2022 to 2024 reveal a relationship between Celeste and D4vd, with Celeste being referred to as his girlfriend in some conversations. Certain messages reportedly detail s/xual encounters and imply grooming when she was still a minor.
Victim:
The victim has been identified as Celeste Rivas from Lake Elsinore, California.
She was 13 years old when she went missing on 5 April 2024 and would now be 15.
The Medical Examiner reported her height as approximately 5 ft 2 in (157 cm) with wavy black hair. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh.”
This “Shhh.” tattoo is said to be identical to one that singer D4vd possesses. Other unsettling similarities include her mother stating that her daughter had a boyfriend named David, which coincides with the singer’s name, David Anthony Burke.
Aftermath:
The cause of death remains “deferred” as further investigation is ongoing.
D4vd is cooperating with law enforcement.
His tour schedule has been impacted, with a recent show in Seattle being cancelled.
