 Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini expressed his satisfaction following the team's 5-1 victory over Real Valladolid on Thursday evening. This win positions Betis in fifth place, just six points shy of the top four and the Champions League qualification spots.

 Pellegrini remarked, 'I consider this a crucial victory, particularly after a lackluster first half where we may have been overly confident, despite our discussions about the need for intensity against a struggling Valladolid side. 

In the second half, we completely transformed our performance, culminating in a significant win that places us in the Champions League positions and improves our goal difference. 

I hope we can sustain this level of play until the season concludes.' Regarding the competition for the top four, he added, 'In football, as long as there is a mathematical possibility, one must believe in achieving it. To succeed, avoiding mistakes is essential.
